Evolving the Complexity of Self-Anger: ‘Self Anger’ Showcased During Turin Art Week with Paratissima

The “Self Anger” project by Mirko Sperlonga was exhibited during the Torino Art Week with Paratissima, in the evocative spaces of the Complesso della Cavallerizza. The artworks were showcased in the “Unpredictable” section, with the setup curated by Rosanna Accordino.

Unpredictability is the possibility alien to any calculation: the fear of the blank page, the indecision at a crossroads, the adrenaline rush of plunging headlong into an enterprise with unknown outcomes. The unexpected is part of everyday life, often tracing the story of each individual in its most pivotal moments and changes of course and destiny.

The “Unpredictable” section aimed to celebrate the unexpected, considering it an exploratory opportunity where lives intertwine, places overlap, balances are disrupted, and tensions are sublimated.
